Job summary

Gordon Food Service Store LLC in Daytona Beach seeks a Van Delivery Driver to accurately locate and pick orders for wholesale customers, build strong customer relationships, and perform routine vehicle inspections. You will ensure timely delivery and proper in-store processing at the point of sale, while safeguarding assets per company policy.

Requirements include at least one year of delivery driving, a valid operator license, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• At least one year of delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred.
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License.
• Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in last 5 years).
• Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspection.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of GFS products.
• Ensure accurate retail processing of customer purchases through the point of sale.
• Ensure security of assets including cash, checks and merchandise by following policies.
• Accurately receive and merchandise products, ensuring proper rotation, product quality, end cap and planogram execution, top stock, freezer, cooler and backroom organization.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

Requirements

• At least one year of delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred.

• Minimum age 18.
• Successfully pass pre‑employment checks: drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Ability to use a two‑wheel cart with a load up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
