Job summary

LifeLong Medical Care is seeking a Radiology (X–Ray) Technician for its Urgent Care sites in San Pablo and Richmond, CA. This part‑time, in‑person role offers 24 hours per week with benefits; must hold California Radiologic Technologist licensure.

The position performs X‑Rays for diagnostics, ensuring safety and compliance with radiologic requirements. 27.00–29.00 hourly, unionized, and covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Current California Radiologic Technologist licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escort to rooms, provide instructions, and assist with positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and adjust exposure settings.
• Develop and process radiologic film.
• Use radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Complete forms, label films, and maintain procedure logs.
• Input radiologic orders into the EMR and manage radiologic supplies.
• Back-up for clinical team by controlling patient flow.
• Take and document vital signs in the EMR.
• Commit to primary care for underserved populations.
