Job summary

NextCare in College Station, Texas is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced, supportive environment with flexible scheduling and no after-hours admin.

Requirements include an active Texas NP or PA license, FNP or NCCPA certification, and DEA license. Prior urgent care or EM experience is preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license.
• FNP (ANCC/AANP) or NCCPA certification.
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to evaluate patients of all ages.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays.
• Urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent care patients of all ages.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound care.
• Document care in the EHR.
• Maintain productivity per urgent care benchmarks.
• Follow NextCare clinical standards and policies.
