Job summary

Included Health is seeking a board-certified physician to provide urgent and primary care across all ages in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with care teams to improve access and quality of care.

The role reports to the Medical Director of Urgent Care; part-time, 20 hours per week, with evenings and weekend shifts. Compensation is $108.17 per hour on average with guaranteed base + benefits and productivity incentives.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency.
• 3+ years post residency experience in a fast paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual boarded Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment plan and document findings appropriately and timely.
• Deliver high quality patient care while maintaining safety.
• Document medical information of patients and review patient history at each visit.
• Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate.
• Counsel and educate patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Evaluate, triage and manage pediatric and adult patients for acute care, and have experience with chronic disease management and mental health conditions.
• Actively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends.
• Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results.
• Scheduling flexibility to include evenings and weekends.
