Job summary

Merchants Bank in Red Wing, MN is seeking a part-time Universal Banker (15-20 hours per week) to join our team. The role covers branch hours including a Saturday morning rotation, with occasional shifts at nearby branches.

You will assist customers with transactions, open accounts, and provide personalized product recommendations in a friendly, professional manner. You will need strong communication, sales experience, cash handling, and the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and sales experience.
• Cash handling skills and ability to multi-task.
• Experience in banking is a plus; part-time availability and weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Open & maintain basic checking and savings deposit accounts.
• Process banking transactions in the Teller area.
• Open, close and maintain safe deposit boxes.
• Serve as a Vault Attendant if needed in the Branch.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets for banking products.
• Provide excellent customer service and personalized solutions.
