Job summary

Citi in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Part-Time Universal Banker (20 hours) to assist in sales, service and account activities within the branch. This entry‑level role supports customer relationships and drives service‑driven sales with cross‑team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a high school diploma. Bilingual Cantonese or Mandarin is preferred. The schedule is Tue–Sat, 1:30 pm–5:30 pm, at the Stonestown Branch.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Retail banking or similar experience required
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly
• Support sales and service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for Citi’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
