Please review the following job description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service, identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service by engaging clients with courtesy, facilitating transactions, and uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  2. Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
  3. Support team sales by participating in outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring clients as appropriate.
  4. Understand and support the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients’ needs.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Advance personal and product knowledge through meetings, training, and web-based learning to better serve clients.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk policies, staying informed of policy updates.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering products and services, managing workload based on branch demands.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in PC keyboard and software necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel for staffing needs and work weekends or extended hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
