Job summary
US Patriot is seeking an experienced Seamstress/Tailor (part-time) to deliver high-quality uniform alterations and garment services for Soldiers and Airmen at the convenient Fort Drum, NY location. You will take measurements, conduct fittings, and execute alterations with precision to ensure uniforms look sharp.
The role uses industrial sewing equipment and requires reading work instructions in English. A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential for meeting daily
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous alterations experience or relevant training.
- Proficient with commercial/industrial sewing equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
- Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.
- Good hand-eye coordination for precise sewing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Read and identify customer needs per Work Instruction Document.
- Take measurements and mark garments for alterations; address sizing issues.
- Perform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy and speed.
- Operate industrial sewing machinery safely and effectively.
- Meet daily production and performance goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
