Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct patrols of distribution facilities and surrounding areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Verify authorized entry and monitor access points per site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports while supporting the orderly flow of operations at a fast-paced logistics location.
