Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Canaan, CT. You will protect clients across facilities by performing routine patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role offers a daytime/evening schedule with specific shifts and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening, with opportunity for growth within a leading security

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interiors, grounds, parking areas and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain visitor records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and medical emergencies and document actions.
• Report hazards and policy violations to site leadership.
