Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Security Officer for part-time unarmed patrol engagement. You’ll monitor interiors, deter incidents, and create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors at commercial properties.

This role offers a flexible schedule via our Shift-claim platform, emphasizes customer service and professional incident response, and pays $21.25 per hour for part-time work. Schedule: Mon 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and Tue 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner following procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and document incidents and maintenance concerns per site procedures.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders with detailed logs.
