Job summary

Allied Universal in Canton, NY is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service in a teamwork-focused environment.

The position offers evening/night shifts (Mon-Wed 11:00 PM–07:00 AM) with a pay rate of $19.11/hour.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as required, direct visitors and deliveries, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established response procedures.
Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
