Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC for a part-time position. You will monitor locations, assist with access control, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
