Job summary

Allied Universal in Bronx, NY is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to guard properties, support access control, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors. You will perform patrols, monitor entry points, and respond professionally to incidents to help deter security concerns.

This role offers flexible day and night shifts, the ability to build a customized schedule, and the chance to work with a trusted team dedicated to safety and service in a dynamic commercial

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and business partners.
