Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and sensitive equipment locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.
