Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in De Soto, KS. You will patrol facilities, monitor entrances, and provide customer service to employees and visitors, while maintaining a professional presence.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives, and maintain a professional presence throughout the location.
