Allied Universal in Savannah, GA is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a retail location. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns while communicating professionally with visitors and team members.

Position offers flexible daytime shifts, pay rate of $17.50 per hour, and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, property damage, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in collaboration with store leadership and Allied Universal management.
