Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Medley, FL. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
