Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Columbus, OH to patrol facilities, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service. You will maintain a visible security presence at food and beverage locations, monitor access points, and report concerns to site leadership.

The role offers flexible scheduling, a focus on teamwork and community safety, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, employee areas, delivery zones, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
