Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Mountain View, CA to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and provide excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

The role allows a flexible schedule with daytime and weekend shifts and requires adherence to site policies and safety procedures. Typical duties include responding to emergencies, monitoring access points, and documenting

Qualifications

Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law and drug screen may be required.
Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, coordinated manner with hospital personnel and first responders.
Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances and perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
Document incidents and patrol activities and relay information to supervision and site leadership.
