Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time (Unarmed). This role offers a flexible schedule with fixed anchor shifts and the opportunity to earn more by picking up extra shifts across sites.

The position requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and background checks and drug screening as required by law. You will provide customer service, monitor facilities, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening required as a condition of employment.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
