Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Recognition in Whitsett, NC. This role offers flexible hours and a fixed shift with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $16.89 per hour with a typical DayTime schedule on a part-time basis. The position involves client-facing security duties, patrols, and access control at a designated site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Criminal history permissible per laws.
• Drug screen required where laws permit.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, while observing and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a professional workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.
