Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Whitsett, NC to protect client sites across technology, media, and telecom environments. The role offers a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform and an hourly pay rate of $16.89.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, provide excellent customer service, and report incidents according to site procedures. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles (if applicable).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while executing security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas, spaces, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report issues per site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activities and communicate with site contacts.
