Job summary

Allied Universal in Seattle, WA is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide unarmed patrols, customer service, and adherence to site policies. This flexible, anchor-shift role offers reliable hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Pay rate is $23.26 per hour. The position requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Document incidents, observations, and unusual activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
