Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Saint Louis, MO. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the possibility to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay is $16.70 per hour, with daytime and evening shifts. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document activities per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
