Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrolling in Van Nuys, CA. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The position supports part-time hours with potential growth toward a full-time schedule, while ensuring reliable base shifts at an assigned site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately in accordance with site procedures.
