Qualifications

• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location, following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior.
• Prepare incident reports and shift handoff information according to site requirements.
