Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Liverpool, NY. You will deliver professional customer service while patrolling sites and enforcing access control policies.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, NYS Security Guard license, and a valid driver's license. Flexible weekend schedules and opportunities to earn more through the Shift platform are available.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
