ICES: Data, Discovery, Better Health in Pacific, MO seeks a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to safeguard our location. You will be the first line of defense, ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property during Day Watch and the 2nd shift (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The role emphasizes proactive observation, access control, and incident response. Prior security experience is desirable, with CCTV familiarity and first aid/CPR certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management techniques.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response procedures are preferred.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while enforcing policies.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required.
