Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to guard a manufacturing and industrial site in Greenville, SC. You will provide customer service, monitor access, patrol areas, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes flexibility with a shift-based schedule and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional workplace environment by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
