Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Greenville, SC. You will serve clients across manufacturing and industrial environments, patrol sites, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

This part-time role offers weekend overnights, customer service-focused duties, and the chance to grow with ongoing training and a supportive team. Pay is $15.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document entries, deliveries, and departures in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing accurate incident reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, suspicious activity, and policy violations, to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
