Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed, CPR Support) in Chicago, IL. You will perform routine patrols, provide customer service to students, staff and visitors, and respond to incidents with professionalism in a dynamic educational setting.

This role offers a flexible schedule with daytime shifts and a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. Minimum requirements include high school diploma and background/drug checks as applicable.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, students, staff, and guests by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across facilities, classrooms, offices, galleries and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; offer directions and information; maintain orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies with calm, clear communication; file required reports.
