Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer (Behavioral Response) in Lees Summit, MO. You will conduct routine patrols, deter security incidents, manage access control, and deliver compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, facility access procedures, and the reporting of unauthorized entry concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrol activities in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.
