Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a dynamic logistics and distribution location in Gilbert, AZ. The role monitors entrances, conducts patrols, maintains logs, and delivers customer service with professionalism and integrity.

The part-time schedule includes Fri and Sat nights. Prior security/alarm experience is helpful. You’ll join a team that values people, safety, and reliability, with opportunities to grow and benefit from our training and perks.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintaining accurate visitor and driver logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
