Schedule : Part-Time Saturday & Sunday 7am- 3pm, 3pm-11pm, & 11pm- 7am

Summary / Objective

The Security Guard will assist our customer in ensuring the safety and security of residents and authorized visitors.

Essential Functions

1. Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
2. Obtain help by sounding alarms.
3. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policies and procedures; restraining trespassers.
4. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
5. Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
6. Perform extensive interior and exterior patrols of assigned areas.

Required Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Preferably, at least 1 year of experience as a security guard, with evidence of prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

5. Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, with proper grammar and vocabulary.
6. Ability to work well in a team environment.
7. Maintain professionalism and courtesy with customers at all times.
