Protos Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the LA Area Rover in Hawthorne, CA. This part-time role involves regular patrols on foot or by vehicle to deter threats, monitor properties, and report security breaches with precision.

The ideal candidate is 18+, holds a California Guard Card, HS Diploma or GED, a CA driver’s license, and strong English communication. Night/ weekend shifts and professional appearance required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• California Guard Card issued by BSIS.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid California driver’s license (for vehicle patrol positions).
• English fluency with strong observational and decision-making skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random foot/vehicle patrols of assigned property.
• Monitor and report overall status and condition of property.
• Identify trespassing, suspicious activity, and unauthorized persons.
• Report maintenance issues and safety or liability concerns.
• Observe and report incidents of vandalism or property damage.
• Monitor tenant compliance with lease terms and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions in daily reports.
