Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Guard in Culver City, CA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while patrolling mall areas and supporting a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents with professionalism and teamwork. A guard card/license is preferred, and a HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of mall common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing wayfinding information, and supporting a welcoming environment throughout the location.
