Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA for a government location. This part-time role offers a schedule with shifts and a pay rate of $17.50 per hour, with opportunities to support a secure environment and provide excellent customer service.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site personnel to deter risk, while maintaining professional conduct and effective communication with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and public inquiries calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of government buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor authorization per site procedures; report unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for incidents and patrols.
