Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in West Chester, PA. You will protect clients across healthcare and other sectors, provide customer-focused service, and maintain a visible security presence while adhering to site procedures.

The role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to explore new shifts via our Claim a Shift platform, and a supportive, safety-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
