Allied Universal in Clearfield, UT is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard for a part-time schedule to patrol aerospace and defense locations and provide top-tier customer service. The role emphasizes observation, reporting, and professional presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation required.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited activity through a professional presence, observation, documentation, and timely escalation of security-related concerns.
