Job summary

Daytime shifts on weekends are included, with a pay rate of $23.30 per hour. The position requires a valid driver’s license and a background check; driving positions require license verification.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as per laws.
• As a drug screen may be required, subject to law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and urgent situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including floors and entrances.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential theft, reporting observations to leadership.
• Complete activity reports and communicate security information to supervision and client representatives.
