Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.]
