Job summary

Allied Universal in Anchorage, AK is seeking a part-time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver to protect government facilities and support a safe, welcoming environment. The role involves patrolling sites, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

You will drive during patrols with a valid driver’s license, complete clear reports, and follow site procedures consistent with our policies.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following established procedures for entry, identification, and notification of appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
