Job summary

Allied Universal® in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Patrol Monitoring. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service to visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily logs as required.
