Responsibilities

• Position, transfer and immobilize patients to obtain scans of optimal quality.
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment for on-site procedures as required.
• Assist radiologists by selecting technical factors for optimal studies.
• Obtain pertinent patient history to inform the radiologist.
• Maintain CPR certification and follow safety policies.
• Maintain patient records and prepare schedules and folders.
• Stay current with ultrasound skills and assist students or staff.
