FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Rockingham is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform OB-GYN, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound exams and produce high-quality images within a PACS environment, while maintaining sterile technique and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Registered or registry-eligible with appropriate credentialing body.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of ultrasound examinations within the imaging department’s scope of service.
• Demonstrate proficiency in OB-GYN, Abdominal, and Vascular ultrasound techniques.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a PACS environment.
• Apply sterile techniques to assist with invasive procedures when necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• No call required
