Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT required upon hire or
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS required upon hire (excludes SHMG OB/GYN/MFM)
• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS required upon hire (excludes SHMG Vascular)
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS required within 1 year; SHGR regional eligibility
• CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) - ARRT required within 1 year; SHGR regional eligibility
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARRT within 1 year; Grand Rapids Breast Imaging
• CRT-Breast (BR) - ARDMS within 1 year; Grand Rapids Breast Imaging
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings.
• Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
