Job summary

Corewell Health seeks a part-time ultrasound technologist to perform basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations, assist with procedures, and document findings. The role supports multiple OB/GYN-related clinics in West Michigan, including Grand Rapids locations, with 4-hour shifts during the day and variable days.

Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience is required, along with ARRT and ARDMS certifications. AHA/BLS within 90 days of hire is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience.
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) - ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Breast (BR) - ARDMS Breast Center Sites Excluding Regionals not performing Breast Imaging Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARRT Breast Center Sites Excluding Regionals not performing Breast Imaging Upon Hire required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings.
• Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
