Job summary

Corewell Health’s Lakeland/St Joseph ultrasound team is seeking a qualified Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, document findings and support physicians during procedures. The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to ultrasound protocols and maintaining equipment quality.

The position requires an Associate’s degree (or equivalent), ARRT/ARDMS credentials and 2 years of ultrasound experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to provide quality diagnostic studies per established protocols.
• Documents quality images and assists physicians during invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintains clean work environment and stocks supplies.
• Notifies management of malfunctioning equipment and supports credentialing/competencies.
