Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Mobile, Alabama. You will support access control at a busy transportation terminal, verify credentials, monitor activity, and deliver professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, and enforcing site policies. TSA TWIC and a clean background are required, with a background check and drug screening as applicable by law.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where law allows.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments may vary by client site.
